Taking the opportunity presented by Homburgs’ (theatrical costumiers) closing down sale, Wakefield Gilbert and Sullivan Society have acquired over 200 costumes specifically for G&S productions.
We have a full cast set, including many Principals’ costumes, for The Mikado. These are all in extremely good condition. We have supplemented the chorus and principal outfits with ladies’ and gentlemen’s fans and shoes, ladies’ wigs, and gentlemen’s hats.
We have Act 1 chorus costumes for Gondoliers including straw hats and ladies head-dresses.
A recent addition are Policemens costumes including truncheons and hats.
